100 women against stereotypes

The project was promoted by the Pavia Observatory and the GiULiA Association of Journalists.

The project resulted in the development of a database, a useful research tool for both media and journalists, capable of increasing the visibility of research conducted by women scientists and promoting equality in scientific careers.

In this context, GENDERS participated as a technical partner and was involved in the selection of women experts in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), which is traditionally male-dominated.

Funding: The project was supported by European Commission Representation in Italy and was sponsored by the National Equality Adviser, established at the Italian Ministry of Labour and Social Policies.
