Universidonna

The research activities and actions under the project Universidonna Lombardia (Fse 296072) were carried out in 2006-2007 by three Lombardy universities – the University of Milan, the Milan Polytechnic, and the University of Milan-Bicocca – and the organisation Orientamento Lavoro Onlus.

The aim was to promote the culture of gender difference and equal opportunities for women and men in education, training and research, with a focus on labour market integration and careers in advanced technologies.

During the project, a multilevel action plan was implemented in the Lombardy regional area, including: the creation of a database of research and available educational and training offer with a gender perspective; the activation of a Help Desk; and the conducting of research on women’s careers in the aerospace engineering sector.

Partnership and Funding: Universidonna was promoted by the Lombardy Region as part of a broader interregional project joined by the Lombardy Region, the Piedmont Region, the Tuscany Region and the Autonomous Provinces of Trento and Bolzano.
